I played on this wonderful album, track 7 “I knew (we shouldn’t)”!
AMERICAN DREAMLAND - LOOP 2.4.3
A portrait of the cultural hodgepodge of American heritage, this 3rd album of percussion-based Loop 2.4.3 begins as a nihilistic snapshot of the postmodern psyche, flashes back to childhood, and journeys through moments of isolation, anger and turmoil, love, tenderness, and nostalgia. From the dark, surreal world of Edgar Allan Poe, to the rebellious freedom of Easy Rider; from the ancient, desolate plains of Minnesota to the post-industrial streets of Brooklyn, Baltimore, and Detroit, this is honest music, drawing on a wide range of written and improvised styles, yet impervious to genre-specific expectations or limitations.
