3D sound design
Froggus Housatonicus
Friday, March 5, 2004
(2004) a three CD spacial experience created for an exhibit by Joy Wulke at the
Housatonic Museum. Three Cds of differing lengths are playing in repeat mode for two months. One can sit and listen without a repeat for a very long time. Three boomboxes were placed throughout the space at a low volume. Based on the sounds used in the previous year's exhibit, and re-sound-designed. This one is reflective of spaces where one worships.
Showed June/July 2004. Central CT State University hosted it in 2010.
A CD of the single rendering is available at lulu (that is, CD1 is panned to the right, CD2 is center, CD3 is panned to the left), as well as the actual 3D set.
