Papyrus Nugator I: Hungarian Childhood
Tuesday, March 5, 2002
(2002) using text from Emoke B'Racz's "Hungarian Childhood"
(from her book: "Every Tree is the Forest") a surreal and beautiful poem-sound painting, using the sounds of Emoke's voice reading the poem as paint. An study in sound-design-colors, and subltly-evolving form. Listen to track #1 on the player below. [18'00"]
UPDATE May 2015: There will be a NEW, and final, track being added in the near future, based on my sister’s writing. I plan on having my other sister, Piroska, read it and I will create the work around the words and her voice. When it is finished, I will add this track to the ALBUM as v3 and update it on BANDCAMP. Then, I will disable the SoundCloud playlist and widget, and enable the BANDCAMP widget to play it below (and you can actually OWN it, then). When its all in place, those of you who previously purchased v2 or v1 of the CD, can contact me and I will send you a free download code! I strongly thank all of you who have supported us in the past. THANK YOU!!! :-)
