In-D

"In-D" (1999) for any number of instrumentalists. World premier at the Neighborhood Music School by the "Audubon Ensemble" (Flute: Cindy Beausang; Cello: An-Lin Bardin; Guitar: Neil Fitzpatrick; Marimba: Thomas Kozumplik; Keyboard: I. B’Racz). Below is the recording of that premiere. The incredible famous "In C" was the OBVIOUS basis for this work. I wanted to explore the modal qualities of "D" and do it in a way that is like the original, yet a bit more structured for modern musical "drama". In the way the John Adams uses minimalism, I felt the need to divide sections, and have hight and low points. All in all, its a flexible work, for any number and type of players. Score available soon on Lulu.
In one movement [duration ca.15'-30’ depending on ensemble’s performance].
This section is currently under construction. There will score samples as well as some photos for various works. Stay tuned...
